Hi there! Thank you for checking out the blog!
I’m thrilled to share all things Colorado through a drone pilot’s lens and provide some tips and tricks along the way.
I’m a former civil engineer that has been flying drones for over 5 years for agricultural research. I’ve spent most of my life here in Colorado and nothing brings me more joy than getting to use the thing I’m good at to show off the things I love!
My hope is that this blog will inspire some outdoor adventures and provide insight into what the professional world of drone flying looks like.

My goal for the year - among many others - was to learn to fish. There’s nothing like learning in the moment, so for my first chapter in this Touch Grass series, I wanted to try some of the higher altitude lakes in the Poudre Canyon. First stop, Zimmerman Lake.
The “Touch Grass” series is a look into my personal adventures shot from the ground and from the air and is a true love letter to all things Colorado (and maybe some other places too).
